Must read posts to help you excel in 2014

Even though new year resolutions have a terrible record in terms of success, there is still something about the new year's time that fills us up with optimism and makes us feel that "this time" all will go as per plan! And why not, a fresh start is one of the best things that can happen when the current situation is not going the way you want it to go. Sure, nothing in reality actually changes with the new year, and it is ultimately a matter of one's mental perception, however most great changes begin with the change in one's thought process. So do not be embarrassed or ashamed if you have not been able to keep your new year's resolution in the last 10 years. Atleast you are still trying to make something happen each time, when many others have given up hope.

Of course, there is no fun in trying and failing, every time. You will ultimately need to plan well, and reasonably. Trying to lose 50-100 pounds by March is not reasonable, and neither is trying to increase your bench press by 50 pounds in that little time. Whatever resolution you make, you must try to make sure that it is something that is backed by a realistic plan, and not just mere wishes. And the best way to be successful in life is to hire people who are helping others achieve what you want to. It is also necessary that you seek the support of your family, friends and surround yourself with people who are going to help you achieve what you want. Thus if fat loss is the plan, then hanging out with your friends who feast on fast food 5 times a week is not acceptable! Instead go to a gym, hire a trainer and be accountable. If you cannot hire a trainer, then get, or make a friend who shares the same goal as you and will keep you on track. It also takes a lot of sacrifices to achieve worthwhile things in life.

So if fitness is related to any of your resolutions for 2014, then I have some posts that will help you to get there. And since this is the last post from me in 2013, let me wish you the very best for 2014, and I look forward to hearing about your success.
